Brass necklaces are priced low because the metal under the stones is brass, and that is the reason a necklace with natural stones on it can still be sold as fashion jewelry. The stones are strung along the whole length of it. There is no chain in these and no pendant either.

Every stone that goes into them is natural, and it is cut in our own facility. Most necklaces that a retailer buys wholesale are a chain with something hanging from the middle of it. Ours are not made like that. In these brass necklaces, the stones run one after the other from one end to the other, and the length of the necklace is the stones only.
There are a couple of things that change for you. The first one is the selling. A pendant has to carry the whole design by itself, however, a strung stone necklace shows color from every angle it is looked at, so it should also photograph better for anybody selling online.
Also, there is the closing. Most of these are finished with a simple hook and not a spring clasp, so there is one less small part which can break in transit.
The brass necklace collection is short. We should say that plainly instead of making it sound bigger than it is.
A necklace uses more stone than an earring or a ring, so a designer has to earn the stone that goes into it before we put it in the collection. Also, most stores are not keeping twenty necklaces on a counter at one time. Two or three which sell should do more for you than fifteen which nobody is asking about.
What is not in the collection can still be made for you, and that is the part custom is for. So the order size does not matter much here, whether you are a single boutique or you are one of the bigger brass necklace suppliers and wholesalers in the USA, we should be able to work with what you need.
Two styles are in the brass necklace collection at the moment. In both of them, the stone is the necklace and the brass is only underneath it.
Nugget necklaces use the stone in its rough shape, which means the stone is not cut down to a fixed size and whatever natural outline it came with is kept as it is. Black spinel, rose quartz, and black onyx are the stones going into this style, and the black onyx one is finished in gold plating, which works well with it.
One thing you should know before ordering. Because the shape of every stone is natural, two necklaces of the same design will not match each other exactly. Some retailers are treating this as a problem, and some are telling the customer that each piece is a different one, which works better in a boutique.
In beaded brass necklaces, the smaller stones are strung in a repeating pattern along the length. The green tiger eye is moving the most in this style.
The beads can be one stone throughout, or they can be mixed. Mixing should give you a necklace which will go with more than one outfit, which helps when a customer is buying only one. Length is also easier to change on a beaded necklace, so if a particular customer wants it longer, beads can be added to it without the design being changed.
Length is what most custom requests on a necklace are about. The collection is made in standard lengths, and those should be fine for most stores, however, a boutique that is selling to one particular kind of customer will often want it shorter or longer than the standard.
You should tell us the length in inches, and it will be made to that. For the stone, you can pick from the natural gemstones we are cutting, and if the one you want is not being cut by us at the moment, we should be able to tell you whether it can be sourced or not.
A photograph or a sketch is enough to start with. A sample necklace is better if you have one already. Plating thickness is also something you should be telling us, because on a necklace the metal is against the skin for much longer than it is on an earring.
